Who we serve

Fresh Start Commons is designed for adults who:

  • Can manage their own basic daily needs (bathing, dressing, meals, medications) with little to no hands-on assistance.
  • Are ready for shared, cooperative living and can respect house rules, roommates, and community spaces.
  • Want support, structure, and guidance not a facility that “does everything for them.”

What we offer

Fresh Start Commons offers:

  • Comfortable, fully furnished shared homes in a positive, stable environment.
  • On-site support that focuses on life skills, planning, and personal accountability, while encouraging independence not dependency.
  • Resources and guidance to help residents maintain employment, education, appointments, and long-term stability.

What we expect from residents

To live at Fresh Start Commons, residents must:

  • Be capable of managing their own personal care, daily routines, and basic independent living tasks.
  • Be able to safely navigate the community without 24/7 supervision and participate in a cooperative household.
  • Be willing to work on goals, follow structure, and use the support offered.
